Below are listed all Sisterhood events for May.

Bunco and Beer- May 2nd from 7:00-9:00 (click here for flyer)Please RSVP if you can attend. It is going to be a really fun evening. Wendy Alter has worked hard to include prizes and snacks. Join us for an enjoyable evening for everyone. 

Sisterhood Board Meeting will be held on May 7th at Phyllis Bigelson's house.If you have any questions please let us know.

Sisterhood Shabbat will take place on May 8th. Please plan to attend Shabbat services this night to support your sisterhood members participating in the event. A big Thank You to Jennifer Kosoy for planning this event. 

General Sisterhood Mtg. will be on May 21st. from 7:00pm-8:30. It will be a Pop up Card making event. Thank you to Harriet who will be sharing her expertise on this evening. 

For our SOVA donation this month we will be collecting Tuna and or Chicken cans. Please bring your cans to the meeting. 

We hope all of you are doing well and enjoying life! Thank all of you who donated Peanut Butter last month. We hope to see you at these events this month.

Our Spirituality event was a huge success this past week.  Thank you to Efrat for all her planning.

On May 21st we will be enjoying a craft event in addition to voting and approving our incoming Board for the 2026-2027 year. Your attendance is appreciated and we will have lots of fun. (craft event flyer attached)
 
As we look ahead to the upcoming Gala On May 30, we invite you to help us honor three truly special members of our temple community, Diane Levine and Debby and Aaron Weissman. Diane has been a deeply dedicated and active participant in Sisterhood and, as she transitions off the  Sisterhood board, we are so grateful for the leadership and heart she has shared with all of us. Debby has also been a valued part of Sisterhood and we are excited to welcome her onto the Temple board, continuing her commitment to our community alongside Aaron, whose support has touched so many areas of Temple life. We would be so appreciative if you would consider submitting a tribute in their honor. Your words are a meaningful way to recognize their impact and celebrate all they have given. Tributes are due by the end of April, and every message truly makes a difference. (forms attached)

Our Sisterhood Shabbat Service will be held on May 8th.

Spirituality Event (click here for flyer) - This event will be held Thursday April 16th at 7:00pm in the TAS Social Hall. Don't forget your tennis balls and socks. If you have extras please feel free to bring them along. We thank Efrat Yakobi for planning this event. We will also announce the slate of officers for 2026-2027.

This year Sisterhood is doing donations at every meeting. This meeting we will collect "Peanut Butter". Please don't bring the Costco size jars. One from the market will be fine. Peanut butter is what Sova is asking for. We look forward to seeing all of you at this event.
