It is time for Sisterhood's annual honey fundraiser!

Our honey fundraiser has two parts.  

Part 1 (Honey Jars):  You can send a jar of honey to any address in the US for $18/jar.  Shipping is free if you order before August 14.  Each shipped jar will arrive in time for Rosh Hashonah.  This is a great way to tell loved ones or friends that you are thinking of them.  Or say thank you to someone who did something nice for you by sending them a jar of honey.

Part 2 (Honey wishes):  You can send your wish for a sweet new year to each of our clergy, professional staff, maintenance staff, and teachers.  Each of these people, who do so much for our temple, will get their own jar of honey.  With the honey, they will receive a letter including your name thanking them for their service to the Temple and extending your wishes for a sweet and happy New Year.  It is $36 to participate in the honey wishes to clergy and staff part of our honey program.

This is a wonderful opportunity to come to the aid of your Sisterhood and at the same time share your communication skills.

This is a part-time (once a week), temporary (3 or 4 months), volunteer (we all know what that means) position while Phyllis is recuperating from eye surgery.

In addition this position has many perks...

Dear Sisterhood Members:
 
I am so sorry this weekly email is going out a few days late. No excuse, except that I have been swamped at work.
 
Our yearly Love Tea is this coming Sunday, June 7th at 2:00pm.  You have been receiving reminders of this weekly.  However, if you have not yet RSVP’d, please do so asap, so we can know how many to plan for. (Click here for Flyer)
 
We are starting a new article a couple of times each month, so that you can know your Sisterhood Board Members.
 
Meet Phyllis Bigelson

I am your outgoing Sisterhood President.  I am a mother of 2 girls (having fun in this picture) with 2 fantastic son-in-laws and 4 grandchildren ages 16-25.  I have been an active member of TAS for over 20 years.  Previously I was President of The Women of Reform Judaism Pacific District, of which I am a proud member, representing you in all of the important work we do to support our Jewish Youth, Education goals, and Special Projects through our YES fund donations.

My best friend, Bill and I have been married going on 56 years.  We have been working together in our CPA firm for over 45 years.

I love being a part of the TAS Sisterhood with all of its wonderful, caring members and all of our fun and educational programs. If you do not know me personally, please introduce yourselves at any of our great events.  You can see many pictures from our past programs on our website, and we would love to see you on this site as you participate in our future events.
