Good Morning Sisterhood Members!
Sunday July 19 was our Sisterhood Leadership training. We had over 20 Sisterhood members attend. We all learned so much about one another and have a healthy respect for all Sisterhood Members and the services we provide for our Temple. I’m proud to say that we have wonderful board members!

Dv'ar Torah given at Sisterhood Leadership Day
July 19, 2026
An original poem by Sheila Reback
Dear Sisters
We're gathered together to learn and grow
The life we reap is what we sow
We work as a team and each do our part
Taking care of business with our heart

The best moments of our lives are in the giving
Great satisfaction makes life well worth living
Our loyal commitment is a way of being
And gives life's journey important meaning

Dedication to values of Sisterhood
 Friendship, caring, and doing good
 Shabbat Onegs and planning meetings
Where we receive warm TAS greetings

The members of Sisterhood are truly great
 With WRJ we really rate
To our Board members, grateful thanks to you
May you find success in all that you do
Your hope and dreams and goals come true

Good Morning Sisterhood Members!

July will hold our Leadership Day for Sisterhood Board Members and committee representatives on July 19th. If any other members of Sisterhood want to attend the Leadership day please let me know.

In addition:

Onegs are a huge part of our Friday night services and our Sisterhood budget, and as the Co-Religious Observances Vice Presidents, we want to ensure everyone who wishes to participate gets the opportunity. Whether you’d like to help with an Oneg weekly (shopping), monthly, or occasionally, please let us know.

Joining an Oneg team involves arriving at the temple one hour before the service time to help set up the room (tablecloths, centerpieces), food (plating cookies, fruit, and cake), and drinks (making punch and coffee). You will be able to attend the services on time. Afterward, you’ll assist with serving and cleanup. Each team has a lead, so you are never on your own.

If you believe you're already on the substitute list, please still confirm your participation. We're starting fresh and don't want to miss anyone. Thank you to all who have contributed in the past and to our new volunteers. Your support and dedication are greatly appreciated. Contact one of us if you'd like to volunteer.

Thank you,
Robyn Blachman and Cindy Greenberg
