Who we are

Sisterhood is a diverse group of women spanning all ages and backgrounds, with varying hobbies and interests who come together for friendship, camaraderie and the opportunity to fulfill ourselves as Jewish women. 
Sisterhood is an auxiliary group of Temple Ahavat Shalom in Northridge, CA
Membership
Your dues or contribution to Sisterhood makes our programs, leadership training and support of the Temple and Temple kids possible.  Click on the "Membership" button to find out more about the perks of being a member of Sisterhood.
Programs
  ​Sisterhood offers a variety of programs, interest groups, fundraisers, and activities to support the Temple community.  Click on the "Programs" button to find out more.
Mitzvot
Each year we support over two dozen projects, including Camperships, Avodah, L'Taken Scholarships, WRJ Yes Fund, the Purim carnival, and more.  Click on the "Mitzvot" button to find out more.
We communicate with Sisterhood members and Friends in a variety of ways, including email, Facebook, and phone calls.
TAS Sisterhood Mission Statement: ​The mission of the Sisterhood of Temple Ahavat Shalom, an auxiliary of Temple Ahavat Shalom, is to further the highest ideals of Reform Judaism; to empower the voices of Jewish women; to foster friendship among its members; to be a resource for religious, social and educational activities; to stimulate the observance of Jewish religious life and to promote the programs of the Women of Reform Judaism and WRJ Pacific District.
