- The TAS Avodah program is a Religious School program designed to provide students in 8th through 12th grades an opportunity to help our Temple by volunteering their time. In turn, scholarship opportunities may be awarded to students who make a significant investment of time.
- The Avodah program is NOT a Sisterhood program. It is a Religious School program. However Sisterhood donates money to help fund the scholarships that are awarded, as does the Men of TAS.
- Avodah scholarships are frequently used for Jewish summer camp. Sisterhood runs a completely separate program, called Campership that also provides money for Jewish summer camp. Students can apply to both programs. Both programs have a service component. Service to Sisterhood or MoTAS can often be used for either the Avodah or Campership programs, but the same service hours can not be used for both Avodah and Campership.
