Mitzvot supporting our Temple kids:
Here are some of Sisterhood's projects that support our kids:
Together with MoTAS, Sisterhood offers camperships for Temple kids attending Jewish programs. These are called "camperships" because the most common Jewish program is camp, but they can be used for other Jewish programs too. Click on the Campership button for more information

Each year, Sisterhood provides apples and honey at Rosh Hashona to our religious school and ECEC kids. We also provide dreidles and gelt at Chanukah. We want our kids to associate sweetness and fun with being Jewish!

Sisterhood provides funding which supports the Temple's Avodah program (which supplies the TAs for our religious school.) We provide funding for scholarships to attend L'Taken. We provide funding for the Temple's Alumni Outreach program. Together with MoTAS, we provide gifts for our Bar and Bat Mitzvah students and bibles for the confirmation students. Sisterhood also provides support for both an ECEC and a Religous School project.

Mitzvot supporting our Temple:
Here are some of Sisterhood's projects that support our Temple:
Sisterhood provides the snacks, drinks, setup and cleanup for 52 (plus or minus a couple) onegs a year. Bar/Bat Mitzvah families contribute to the cost and Sisterhood volunteers provide the setup and cleanup. If you would be willing to help provide a beautiful oneg presentation for our Temple, either once a month, or on an occasional basis, please contact us using the contact form and let us know!

At one time, Sisterhood provided Israeli Dancing after services on the third Friday of each month (except in the Summer, because it's too hot.) Unfortunately, interest in Israeli dancing dropped to the point that fewer than half-a-dozen people were dancing each month. So Sisterhood has suspended Israeli dancing for now. When interest picks up, we will happily provide Israeli dancing once more.

Sisterhood supports various Temple activities, including the Purim Carnival, the Cantor's concert, and the Gala. We have made many contributions to fund facilities projects. In addition to these, we also make a large gift annually to the Temple.
