Sisterhood/MoTAS Camperships
What are Camperships? Sisterhood and Men of TAS (MoTAS) are excited, once again, to help our Temple kids attend Jewish summer camp and other Jewish programs. Children who meet the requirements receive funding to help with the cost of the Jewish program they will be attending.
Sisterhood and MoTAS have limited resources and camperships will only cover a small fraction of the typical cost of a program. We encourage you to apply to other funding sources as well. Other sources include One Happy Camper (www.onehappycamper.org), the Bay Area Jewish Camp Collective (campcollective.org/resources), the Jewish Free Loan at the JCC (www.jfla.org). and of course, the camps themselves.
Requirements include:
Temple membership
Volunteer hours for Sisterhood and/or MoTAS
(Five hours for grades 4-12; three hours for grades K-3)
Application competed and submitted before the deadline (March 19, 2025)
Sisterhood and/or MoTAS membership is not required. While all TAS families are encouraged to apply, children of active members of Sisterhood and/or MoTAS are eligible to receive higher awards. We support many programs as part of our commitment to our Temple community and we welcome your membership. To join Sisterhood, please email our membership chairs: Roseanna Sculler ([email protected]) or Tove Aitchison ([email protected]).
