We do have some exciting news. We will be holding our first Zoom Sisterhood meeting on April 16 at 7 pm. A link to the Zoom meeting will be sent out the day before. We are thrilled to have a guest speaker for this event, Dr. Jonci Jensen, ND. Dr. Jensen studied the art and science of health at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine during her naturopathic doctorate program. She also completed one of the country’s only accredited post-doctoral residencies in homeopathy. During her time as a full time professor of medical philosophy and homeopathy at Bastyr University - California, she fell in love with reading classical medical philosophers and studying the Nature of healing. On May 8, 2020 we will be holding our annual Sisterhood Shabbat. Attached please find the revised flyer with the correct telephone number for Karen Pelmont, to volunteer to participate in the service. Please click HERE to view the flyer. Our final meeting of the year will also be a Zoom meeting, and will take place on May 21, 2020 at 7pm. We are planning a fun and interactive meeting, and we will be electing our new Board for the 2020-2021 term. Please mark your calendars. Plans for our Love Luncheon are currently in the works. The event is scheduled for June, and we are awaiting a decision from the Temple as to whether they expect to be open by then. We will keep you updated on the event and what steps will be taken to keep us all safe. In these trying times, we all need to reach out to one another for companionship and to check on each others’ welfare. A brief phone call or quick email can brighten someone’s day, and we all could use a little Sisterhood love these days. Stay Healthy. Stay Safe. And Stay Home! On Friday, May 8, you are invited to join us for a very unique Friday Zoom service led by Sisterhood. The theme of this service is "The Tree of Our Lives". If you have something creative to share, you are invited to play an active role in the service. By "something creative," we mean a story, poem, letter, artwork, photo, music, song, reading, needlework, or anything else that “Nourishes Your Soul”. To volunteer to participate, contact Karen Pelmont at 818-635-9996 by 4/15/2020. Note that presentations are limited to 1 minute/person so as to allow everyone time to share.
