Our Rosh Hashonah honey fundraiser is accepting orders! You can send a jar of honey to friends and/or family within the US for just $12. Shipping is free until July 17 ($5.50 if ordered after that.) Each jar is delivered just before Rosh Hashonah with your personal wishes for a Sweet and Joyous New Year. The free shipping deadline is coming up fast, so order today!
You can also send the clergy or member of our professional staff good wishes for a sweet and happy New Year for just $6 a person or $36 for honey wishes to all the clergy and office staff. One honey jar will be sent to each clergy or office staff member and your name will be listed on a greeting as a contributor of wishes for a Sweet and Joyous New Year. To send honey jars to friends or family or to send honey wishes to the clergy and staff, fill out the attached honey order form and mail it and a check to Jackie, our honey chair (address on the form.) You can send it via email, but don't send credit card information via email; email is not secure. Call Jackie and give her credit card information. Honey is a great way to stay connected with friends and family and to tell them you love them!

As you know, we are having our Sisterhood Installation tomorrow evening, Thursday June 18, 2020 at 7pm via ZOOM. We are asking for your support in welcoming our Board for the 2020-2021 fiscal year, and saying our good-byes to the 2019-2020 Board. Usually our installation is part of our end-of-the-year luncheon, but unfortunately due to the current state of the world, we are unable to host that event. It is a great way to say hello to your Sisterhood friends, and cheer us on to another productive year.
Thank you so much for all you do! As our fiscal year winds down, we would like to thank all of you for your support and participation in Sisterhood. It has been an unusual year, to say the least. And even though we have all been adjusting to the “new normal,” and the cancellation of a lot of traditional events and some new ones as well, we still have a lot going on!

If you have never been to Area Day, please note that our own Phyllis Bigelson is hosting a “First Timers” event prior to Area Day, which should also be a lot of fun and will help you get to know some of your WRJ-PD Sisters. New Fundraiser Save the Date: July 17, 2020 for a new and exciting fundraiser put together by our new Ways and Means VPs, Phyllis Bigelson and Joann Averill. More details to come … Stay Tuned! Honey for the High Holidays We are continuing with our honey fundraiser, just like we do every year. Even Covid-19 cannot interfere with this annual event. Please click here to see the attached flyer for information on how to order honey for friends, family and the clergy and send a special Shana Tova! Have a great couple of weeks, and join us on the 18th for our Installation. Be Safe; Be Healthy; Be Careful; and Be Yourself - We love you just the way you are! Is there someone in your life who is celebrating a special event - a bar/bat mitzvah, anniversary, graduation, special birthday? Would you like to cheer up a friend? Having trouble getting out to buy the perfect card for the occasion or can't find the right words to say? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, your Sisterhood has the perfect solution - send that special person a Sisterhood tribute. Mel Birken, Sistherhood Tribute Chairperson, has just the right words for any occasion. To have a Sisterhood tribute sent in your name, please contact Mel at [email protected].
Note: While some bar/bat mitzvot have been postponed, Zoe Siegel's is going forward. Zoe will be bat mitzvah this Saturday, June 13, 2020. Mazel tov Zoe! |
