Our Women's Wisdom event is this coming Sunday, May 2, at 10:30am. If you haven't RSVP'd yet, don't delay another minute! Here's a link to use to RSVP: https://www.tassisterhood.org/womenswisdom.html
The event will be a spiritual interactive session where we will explore our inner selves, tap into our personal world, and find meaning in our lives.
We look forward to seeing you Sunday!
Take care and stay safe,
Unfortunately I was mistaken regarding the voting procedure for our next meeting. Nominations from the floor closed once the presentation of the Slate was completed. However, we still need you to attend the May craft event, as we need a quorum for the vote to go forward. And so, please review the slate and make sure to support your new officers.
There was a typo on the email address for RSVPs to this event. The correct email address is email@example.com
You mud RSVP to this event in order to attend. The Committee has done an amazing job and it promises to be an inspiring morning.
I received numerous inquiries as to why our announcement of Helen’s passing did not mention that she was Erika Barnathan’s mother. This was done deliberately in an effort to preserve the privacy of the family. As you know Erika is a TAS Sisterhood Past President and has been active in many other aspects of both our Sisterhood and the Women of Reform Judaism. Many Sisterhood members count her as a close friend, and know this is a difficult time for her and her family. Erika, her husband Lee and their daughter Elise, as well as the other members of the family have asked for privacy at this time. And so, feel free to send a tribute through Mel Birken, but please hold off on phone calls or visits. Our hearts are with them during this difficult time.
Please see the TAS announcement for information as to funeral arrangements and Shiva services.
Take care and stay safe,
In case you were unable to attend our 04/15/2021 event, we would like to provide you with a look at the 2020-2021 slate of officer proposed by our nominating committee. Please see below.
We will be voting on the new Board at our May meeting on 05/20/21 prior to our craft event.
We can still take nominations from the floor if anyone else is interested in one of our positions, but you will need to be present at the meeting to be nominated.

It is with a very heavy heart that I have to advise that one of our wonderful Friends of Sisterhood, Helen Goldstein, has passed away. For those of you who knew Helen, you know she was a bright light with a lovely soul, very dedicated to her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. If you would like to send a tribute to the family, please contact Mel Birken at firstname.lastname@example.org, and she will assist you.
Take care and stay safe,
