ONEGS ARE BACK -- AND WE NEED YOU!
As you know TAS is returning to in-person Shabbat Services this coming Friday. and that means ONEGS ARE BACK. Due to the best practices Covid protocols which the TAS Board has instructed us to follow, we will be required to serve the congregation with our cookies, punch, water, wine, grape juice and challah. We will be required to personally hand each congregant whatever it is that they want to eat or drink. This will require more hostesses. Our regular Oneg teams are in place and will take care of setup. We have enough volunteers for this Friday, but beginning next week (07/16/21) we will need up to 6 additional volunteers per week. All additional volunteers will be asked to leave services at the end of the Mourner's Kaddish and make their way to the Social Hall to assist our existing teams. New volunteers will not be asked to help with clean-up (although you are certainly welcome to pitch in). You are only asked to help for an hour to an hour and a half during the Oneg itself. To volunteer for an upcoming Oneg please email our Religious Observances VPs Andy Mann or Bobbi Ross and let them know when you are available. You will then be contacted by the lead hostess for that week to confirm your availability. Thank you so much for volunteering. See you in-person on Shabbat!
