Many of us are very happy to see 2020 come to an end. While we have no guarantees, we can certainly look toward 2021 with hope and optimism.
Do you have plans for New Years Eve? Since we need to be "Safer at Home" wherever possible, how about a Zoom event? MoTAS President Howard Miller (and his lovely wife Laraine) are inviting all to a 30 minute Zoom event on 12/31/20 at 11:45 pm to ring in the New Year together. Here is Howard's message: For those people who want to close out 2020 and bring in a happy and healthy 2021 with a big noisy crowd without going anywhere. We’ll do the big countdown together. No masks required! No RSVPs please. If you are staying up until midnight, come join us! _________________ Whatever way you ring in the new year, here's wishing all of us a happy and healthy 2021, with a lot less stress and drama than we have had this year!

Thursday, 12/17/20 at 7 pm via Zoom. And as Hanukkah winds down, here is a Hanukkah blessing for us all: “May the light illuminate your hearts and shine in your life every day of the year. May everlasting peace be yours and upon our Earth.” ― Eileen Anglin Happy Hanukkah to all of you and your families! See you tomorrow via ZOOM! HAPPY HANUKKAH EVENT THURSDAY 12/17/2020 Our Sisterhood Hanukkah celebration is Thursday, 12/17/20 at 7 pm via Zoom. While we won't be able to exchange gifts, we are in for a fun evening of friendship, games and Sisterhood. Looking forward to seeing you all! JANUARY 2021 VIOLINS OF HOPE I am sorry to report that we again need to reschedule Violins of Hope. In order to have a meaningful and beautiful concert, even via Zoom, the musicians all need to be in the same room at the time of the Zoom call. Unfortunately, that is not possible now, and we must therefore reschedule. THE GOOD NEWS . . . is that our amazing Programming VPs have been working tirelessly to provide a unique and magical event for January. The date is 01/21/21 at 7pm. We will have a new flyer out for you soon. AND DONT FORGET OUR VIRTUAL HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE Finally, if you haven't checked out the TAS Sisterhood Holiday Boutique, please do so. There is something there for everyone. Just go to:
tassisterhood.org/boutique and make sure they know you are from TAS, Sisterhood gets 20% of all sales made as a result of our Boutique. And as Hanukkah winds down, here is a Hanukkah blessing for us all: “May the light illuminate your hearts and shine in your life every day of the year. May everlasting peace be yours and upon our Earth.” ― Eileen Anglin Happy Hanukkah to all of you and your families! Hello everyone!
The first batch of tiles has returned from firing! They are so wonderful! So many creative and lovely tiles! Our sincerest thanks to Aldo (Diane Levine's son-in-law) from Color Me Mine, who gave us a fantastic deal for our paid-up Sisterhood project! The Sisterhood Co-VP's of Programming and Membership are going to take a picture of the tiles and put them in a collage sort of posters, frame the posters and give them to the Temple as a gift from Sisterhood. IMPORTANT!!! You may start picking up your fired tiles beginning Monday, December 7 at Karen and Sandy's house. We ask that you call us before you come so that we may put your bag with your tile on the table in front of the garage for contactless retrieval. Fifteen of you have not brought your projects back to us as of yet. We ask that you get them to us ASAP so that Aldo can fire them and get them back to you ASAP. He won't fire them individually as it is cost prohibitive to do one or two at a time. Those of you who dropped off your tiles after the deadline of Wednesday, Nov.18 or later, will get them fired in the near future and will be able to retrieve them in the next few weeks. Thank you to all of you who participated in our Paid-up event. We had a wonderful time and hope you did too! |
