Dear Sisterhood Members,
Temple Ahavat Shalom Sisterhood members consists of a group of many talented women who are committed to providing services and programs that focus on maintaining and strengthening the values and tenets of Reform Judaism. As many of you may be aware, the offices and positions of our Sisterhood Board currently have a two-year tenure. At the end of that time, our board members are "timed out" and are no longer eligible to serve in their respective positions on the Board, although they can be on the Board in a different capacity. The purpose of this letter is to enlist new people to fill these vacated positions. A list of vacant positions for the next term with a brief description of the duties associated with those positions is found below. We hope you find a position that piques your interest. If you are interested in being on a specific committee, we would love to know that as well. We know you would enjoy the camaraderie of our Sisterhood leadership. Please know that there are many people available to help you, serve on your committee or assist you in any way that would help you best meet the needs of your position. Board members are required to attend monthly board meetings. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call: Erika Barnathan at 818-568-6977. Open positions for VP:
Thank you from your nomination committee: Erika Barnathan, Robyn Blachman, Naomi Kakosian, Sandy Robinson, Sue Sculler
